Overview

Aster Place consists of 40 two-story townhome-type units and a community building.  There will be 16 two-bedroom units and 24 three-bedroom units on a two-acre parcel of land located at 2440 Myrtle Avenue in Eureka.  The project is at the southwest corner of Myrtle and Moore, just across the intersection from the new HealthSPORT.

The outdoor areas will include pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, play areas, and a richly landscaped community green space.  The building clusters have been oriented to promote a humanly scaled streetscape where automobile drivers will yield to the pedestrian, bicyclist, and skateboarder.

Each building cluster will have its own solar panel array which will draw energy from the sun and greatly reduce each tenant's monthly electrical bill.

Construction on Aster Place began in May of 2011 and will be complete by the end of March 2012.  Accepted applicants will be able to move in during April of 2012.
