The Santa Cruz Veterans Village will transform a former motel property into a permanent supportive housing community for approximately 20 veterans, featuring 20 units and one manager’s unit across a mix of studios, one-bedroom modulars, and an existing four-bedroom house. The project includes the construction of ten new modular units designed to HCD standards with fire safety, ADA accessibility, and sustainability features, as well as a new office and communal laundry facility. Additional amenities such as a serenity trail and landscaped common areas will provide residents with a peaceful, supportive environment, ensuring veterans have access to stable housing in a safe, sustainable, and healing setting.
